📅How to remove a date stamp from a photo

Lots of old photos — and plenty of phone and dashcam frames — carry a burned-in orange or white date and time in the corner. Upload your photo below, brush over that row of digits, and click Erase; AI rebuilds the background behind it. Since the stamp usually sits on a simple area, it comes off cleanly. Frequently asked questions

Can I remove a stamp that lands on a face or the subject?

You can brush it, but over a face or detailed subject the AI has to guess, so it may not be perfect; stamps over background, sky or ground clear most cleanly.

Does removing the stamp change the photo's real date?

No. The stamp is just pixels drawn on top; erasing it only changes how the image looks and doesn't touch the file's capture data (EXIF).

A whole batch has stamps — do I do them one by one?

For now, yes. The upside: the stamp sits in a fixed spot on a simple background, so once you've got the hang of it each photo is just one brushed row and a click.
